What the rate covers
The number you see is the number you pay.
Everything below is inside the daily rate. Fuel and any delivery outside Colombo are the only two things that sit outside it, and both are quoted before you commit.

Insurance and the excess
Comprehensive cover on every car. The excess is stated on the vehicle page before you book, not discovered at the counter.

Servicing and roadside cover
Cars are serviced on schedule and carry roadside assistance for the length of your hire. If one stops, we come to it.

A distance allowance, in writing
Each car lists the kilometres included per day and what an extra kilometre costs. Both figures are on this site.

Before you ask

Can I drive on my own licence?
A foreign licence has to be recognised locally before you drive here. We will tell you exactly what that involves for your country when you send a booking request, and we can arrange it for you.
What deposit do you take?
LKR 25,000, refunded when the car comes back in the condition it left in. It is a hold, not a charge.
How does fuel work?
You get the car full and bring it back full. We do not mark up fuel, and we do not charge a refuelling fee if you return it as you found it.
