The short version

This site sets no cookies, loads no analytics, and embeds nothing from anybody else. Nothing you do here is tracked. The only personal information we receive is what you type into the booking form and send us on purpose.

What the booking form collects

When you send a booking request, we receive:

• your name
• your phone number and email address
• the car, dates and handover point you chose
• anything you wrote in the notes field

We use it to answer your request and, if you go ahead, to arrange the hire. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

Where it goes

The request is sent to our own inbox or booking system. The site is hosted on Vercel, whose servers process the request in transit as part of delivering it. We do not pass your details to anyone else except where we have to in order to arrange the hire you asked for, such as an insurer following a claim.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within twelve months. Records of an actual hire are kept as long as tax and insurance rules require, and then deleted.

WhatsApp and phone

If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms, not ours. The same is true of anything you send by email.

What we do not do

• no analytics, first-party or otherwise
• no advertising or remarketing tags
• no cookies, so no cookie banner to dismiss
• no embedded maps, fonts or scripts loaded from another company
• no profiling and no automated decisions about you

Typefaces are served from this site’s own domain rather than from a font service, which is why there is no third-party request when you load a page.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to correct it or delete it and we will, unless we are required to keep it. Either way, write to hello@ceyloncars.lk.
